Design & Build Quality
Infinix has significantly leveled up its design aesthetics in the 30,000 to 40,000 price range. Devices like the Infinix Hot 50 feature ultra-slim profiles (just 7.7mm thickness) with flat edges and modern matte textures that resist fingerprint smudges. While the chassis and back panel are crafted from polycarbonate plastic, the build feels sturdy, solid, and premium in hand.
Popular colorways like Sleek Black, Sage Green, and Titanium Grey give these budget devices an eye-catching finish that rivals much more expensive mid-range phones.
Display Features
One of the major highlights of Infinix mobiles in this budget is the inclusion of a fluid 120Hz refresh rate on the Infinix Hot 50 and Hot 50i. Sporting large 6.78-inch IPS LCD panels with punch-hole cutouts, navigating through menus and scrolling social feeds feels remarkably smooth.
Outdoor brightness peaks around 500 to 560 nits, which provides adequate visibility under Pakistan’s sunny weather. Infinix has also integrated a “Dynamic Bar” feature that mimics interactive pill-shaped notifications for charging status, calls, and face unlock.
Performance & Processor Review
The Infinix Hot 50 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 (6nm) processor, delivering substantial efficiency and speed upgrades over older chips. Combined with 128GB of internal UFS storage and extended virtual RAM (up to 16GB total memory pool), everyday multitasking, app launches, and media streaming run seamlessly.
For general productivity, online classes, and WhatsApp communications, the chipset holds up admirably without noticeable thermal throttling or system freezes.
Camera Details (Front & Rear)
Infinix equips the Hot 50 series with a capable 50MP primary sensor featuring an f/1.6 wide aperture. Daylight outdoor photos come out crisp with pleasant color reproduction and good dynamic range for social media posts.
On the front, you get an 8MP selfie camera accompanied by Infinix’s signature physical dual front flash, allowing you to capture clear selfies even in pitch-dark environments where most rival phones struggle.
Battery Life & Charging
Battery endurance is a strong suit for Pakistani users coping with long workdays and load-shedding. The 5,000 mAh battery capacity across the Infinix lineup easily delivers 1.5 days of moderate usage on a single charge.
The inclusion of 18W Type-C fast charging ensures that you can refill from 0 to 50% in roughly 45 to 50 minutes. Infinix also includes smart bypass charging features to prolong battery health over multi-year usage.
Gaming Performance
While these are budget devices, the Helio G100 and G81 processors handle popular battle royale games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire reliably. In PUBG Mobile, the Infinix Hot 50 runs smoothly on Smooth + Ultra (up to 40 FPS) with stable frame pacing during standard matches.
Casual titles such as Subway Surfers, 8 Ball Pool, and Candy Crush run at buttery-smooth maximum framerates without breaking a sweat.
Software & UI Experience
Running XOS based on Android 14/15, the interface is packed with localized utility features including WhatsApp Call Recorder, theft alerts, and dual space app cloner. While there are pre-installed promotional apps, most can be uninstalled or disabled in settings for a clean, streamlined user experience.
Connectivity & Sensors
Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Biometric security is managed by a responsive side-mounted fingerprint scanner that unlocks the device in under 0.25 seconds.
